Crono- The Leader of the Pack

Crono is the latest full hidden object games leader of zetaclear oral solution your the party and the main character of the game. He uses a Katana sword and Lightning magic. He's really easy to spot in a crowd because of his spiky red hair (remind you of anyone from a certain multi-million dollar video game for Playstation?). He never says anything throughout the game unless you get the ending where Marle and Lucca talk about which guy is cuter and what not. (I'll explain how to get all the various endings later.)

After Crono dies and is resurrected, you no longer have to keep him as the head of your party, or even in your party. You can have whoever you want in your party and anyone leading your party. Even that Frog guy, or the Robot dude… Why couldn’t they have done that with FFVII I wanted to see what Yuffie would do in a leadership position- probably hide under her bed or something. Oh well. Can't change that, I guess.

Weapons: (in order of attack power)

Wood Sword- Crono's first weapon, it comes pre-equipped. It has a measly attack power of 3, not so bad considering most of your enemies in the beginning have less than 20 HP. You can sell it for 50G.

Iron Blade- The next best weapon. It costs 350G in Leene Square (1000 AD) and has an attack power of 7. If I was you, I'd skip this weapon and go for the Steel Saber in the Market (in Porre, 1000 AD). You can sell this blade for 175G.

Steel Saber- Buy it in the Porre market in 1000 AD. Better than the Iron Blade, but more expensive at 800G. On the plus side, it has an attack power of 15. If you want it, go get some G by fighting enemies in Guardia Forest or go fight Lucca's robot Gato (also gets you silver points for the fair) at the Millenial Fair. You can sell it for 400G.

Lode Sword- Buy it from Melchior in Leene Square. If you've got a couple thousand G burning a hole in your pocket early in the game, buy this. Screw the armor, this is the best sword your gonna get till you come back from 65,000,000 BC. It has an attack power of 20 and you can sell it for 2000G, or maybe it's 1000G. Wither way, it's a damn good but really expensive sword.

Bolt Sword- you can't get this one until you go to the future, but it has an attack power of 25 and you can either get it in the Factory, or you can hunt through the sewers for it. I recommend going to find it in the sewers so you can have it for the Factory Ruins. It sells for 2500G.

Red Katana- Costs 4500G, sells for 2250G, has an attack power of 30, and also looks damned spiffy, if I may say so myself. Buy it from Melchior before you fight the Heckran- not necessary since only magic affects the Heckran, but you'll need it for the enemies after Heckran (aka- the Magic) Cave.

Flint Edge- buy it in 65,000,000 BC when you go to get the Dream Stone from Ayla. You have to trade some stuff for it, but it sells for 3250G and has an attack power of 40. Mighty impressive…

Slasher- You get this one after defeating Slash in Magus's castl. It's quite nice, but you can't sell it. I wouldn't advise you to either. It's a pretty good weapon, but it has it's faults- namely, a better weapon comes along right after you fight Magus. A MUCH better weapon…although it is pretty useful when you're fighting Magus.

Aeon Blade- trade it in 65,000,000 BC after you defeat Magus- trust me, you'll need it! It has an attack power of 70, and you can sell it for 6250G.

Demon Edge- Buy it in Terra Cave in the 12,000 BC. Costs 17,000G, sells for 8500G and you get it after you fight the first Golem and then go back to save Schala. It has an attack power of 90 and no, you can't get it the first time you go to 12,000 BC because Terra Cave isn't 'open for business' yet. You'll just have to wait like everybody else.

Alloy Blade- Buy it in Kajar for 21,000G (!?) and sell it for 10,500G. it has 110 attack power. Whoopdedoo.

Star Sword- You get this after Crono "buys the farm" (hint, hint). Woohoo. A weapon you won't need till you save him, it costs 25,000G and sells for 12,500G. Has an attack power of 125 and is completely useless if you don't have Crono around to use it. Don't waste your money on it, though, because you'll find a better weapon on Death Peak.

Vedic Blade- Has an attack power of 135. If you bought the Star Sword for Crono and then got this, you suck- and you're out about 12,000G. It's a free sword- you find it on Death Peak when you go save Crono. It sells for 15,000G. Very nice…

Swallow- A very nice sword, if I may say so myself. You'll find it at the Blue Pyramid in 1000 AD. It's the weapon (duh) and it's better than the armor you could get if you wanted it. The armor is just a time hat or something like that. Not really worth the trip. Trust me, you want the Swallow- it has an attack power of 145 and sells for a lovely 19,000G. Kaching!!!

Kali Blade- In the Northern Ruins, where you find Cyrus, you'll also find this handy-dandy little sword. It has an attack power of 150 and sells for 17,500G. Even more impressive than the Vedic Blade…

Slasher2- You have to charm Super Slash to get this one. It's in Ozzie's fort, has an attack power of 155 and doesn’t sell. Not that you'd want to anyway.

Shiva Edge- Isn't there an FFVII summon spell with a similar name? Oh well, this here is one of Crono's nicest swords. It's in the Northern Ruins (you have to make a couple trips there and many repairs before you can get it) for free!!! Attack power is 170 and it sells for 20,000G. KA-CHING!!

Rainbow Sword- Made from the Rainbow Shell in 1000 AD by Melchior. He shows up a lot, doesn't he? Entire plot schemes revolve around him!! Oh well. This sword has an amazing 220 attack power and sells for 30,000 bucks!!!!!!!! If you use new game plus, you can get it at the beginning of the game, you louay cheater you!! It's really pretty too…

Mop- Yes, that's right. A mop. It has an attack power of 1 (yay) and can be sold for 1G (yippee-skip). You get it by charming the Nu in the hunting Range in 65,000,000 BC. It actually shows up as a mop when you use it. Interesting. Oh well- every game has a weird weapon for at least one character and this is a pretty weird weapon!!!

Magic/Techs: Single techs Cyclone- his first magic attack. Crono spins around with his sword at the ready to attack multiple enemies standing close together.

Slash- (also used by Slash, one of Magus's cronies) This one's kinda hard to explain- Crono makes a cut with his sword and energy flies towards the enemy. It's easier to show than to explain, but I can't find a decent pic of it so- oh well. Hits multiple enemies standing in Crono's line of vision, or just one enemy depending on where it is aimed. I've only ever been able to hit one enemy at a time with it so I think it's only a single attack.

Lightning- the first of Crono's magic attacks learned form Spekkio at the end of time. Crono summons a bolt of lightning to attack his enemy- hits only one enemy at a time.

Spincut- Crono leaps into the air and sins once to slash his enemy- does twice the damage of a normal sword attack. Hits only one enemy at a time.

Lightning 2- a step up from Lightning. Same concept, but it hits all the enemies on the battlefield.

Life- Marle uses a similar, but better tech. Revives one ally and restores some HP. Useful, but not as much as Marle's Life 2 spell.

Confuse- Crono pounces(pounces?) on his enemy's head and attacks four times. Very effective, but only hits one enemy at a time.

Luminaire- the biggest and best magic attack of them all! Ever seen Akira? Remember the explosion at the very beginning? That's how this goes. Let me explain for those of you who haven't had the chance to experience Akira: Crono summons an orb of light (much like in the previous lightning spells) that grows, fades, and does ultimate damage on all enemies. It's one of the coolest attacks on the game.

(Double techs & Triple techs are on the group stats page)
