ewan gordon mcgregor was born on march 31, 1971 in creiff, scotland. he's an aries. he loved star warz as a kid and even had star warz sheets. (kute!!!) ewan says, "i knew every word in the movie. i liked princess leia's lines best. it was a shame i couldn't play her!!!" still, playing obi-wan was like a dream come true to him.
ewan owns a motorcycle and loves driving around on it. he is a huge fan of oasis and got to announce oasis' act on the 1996 mtv video music awards (maybe you noticed him???). Despite playing a rock star in Velvet Goldmine, he still has dreams of being one. ewan is very close to his parents, and visits crieff whenever he gets a chance.

ewan is married to a french production designer named eve mouvrakis. she is a couple of years older than him. they were married in 1995 in france and have a daughter named clara mathilde. the family lives in london.
